Plus, there are beverages that include lemon juice which are in aisle 5 but they are not for cooking with. Here’s a picture of the results when I selected my store and typed in Lemon Juice.

Is it safe to drink pure lemon juice?
While it is safe to drink pure lemon juice, I wouldn’t recommend it. The main problem with drinking too much lemon juice is that it is highly acidic and can cause erosion in tooth enamel over time. If you sweeten that lemon water with sugar, you increase the risk of tooth decay as well. You don’t want to damage your teeth with highly acidic foods so I would stay away. It is safe to drink in moderation and to add to food.
Is lemon juice in a bottle the same as a real lemon?
Lemon juice in the bottle is not the same as a real lemon. The bottle version contains additives and preservatives such as Sodium Metabisulphite (E223) or Potassium Metabisulphite (E224). It’s essentially more processed but the additives and preservatives are not necessarily unhealthy.
What happens if you drink lemon juice everyday?
Drinking lemon juice regularly can cause your teeth to decay or enamel to erode. This is because the acid in the citrus fruit reacts with your teeth and can lead to damage. Plus, too much lemon juice can lead to heartburn, nausea, vomiting, and other gastroesophageal reflux symptoms. I would not recommend drinking lemon juice, lemon water, or lemonade everyday.
Can I substitute bottled lemon juice for fresh lemon juice?
Yeah.If you don’t want to buy the processed lemon juice, you can opt to go with fresh lemon juice. You can substitute bottled organic lemon juice or generic bottled lemon juice for the fresh squeezed lemon juice.
